A Gamers Manifesto
Did you all have a good Memorial Day? I did. And I also enjoyed the hell out of reading this little piece of gaming goodness. It’s called the Gamer’s Manifest and cover the Top 20 things game developers need to change now that we are in the 7th generation of consoles.
One of my favorite [...]
Nintendo DS PDA Panache Stylus Review
I checked out some of those beautiful styli from PDA Panache and I must say, they are well worth the price of admission.
I received my stylus very quickly from PDA Panache, and they arrived in a package similiar to what you buy a pen in, and judging from the description on the back, also [...]

Nintendo Will Be at PAX
Got the word form 4CR and GameGirlAdvance that Nintendo will be an exhibitor at the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX) this year. PAX is an ultra-d0rker-game-a-thon being held in the Seattle area this August. You thought you were geek enough to attend E3, wait until you try on the hordes of PAX. From PCs and [...]
Quick Update to Site
Just a short, quick note that I moved the former OQO and Flipstart sections to a new category titled Ultra PCs.
I still hold my claim that there is a big future for Ultra PC gaming. One day my friends, you’ll be able to play any current PC game in today’s market on a viable handheld.
Hello, Nokia 770
Portagamers meet Nokia 770, Nokia 770 meet Portagamers.
The 770 is NOT A PHONE. It is just Nokia’s latest attempt to venture out of the cellphone market (not like the N-Gage, which is first a phone, second a video game system). The 770 IS an internet tablet. It’s mostly designed for jumping on the web, [...]
LCD Was *IT* Back In The Day
Thanks to Something Awful, we can be glad and/or upset that portable gaming has evolved the way it has. Imagine all your favorite current PSP games as Tiger Electronics LCD handhelds, and all your current NDS games as Game&Watch titles sans touchscreen. It would indeed be a different world. We always have, and always will, [...]
E3 2005, Next-Gen Systems, Blu RSS, and heavy linking
E3 is all done and finished as of yesterday. It was a hard up year, with news on the Xbox 360, PS3, Gameboy Micro, and of course the Revolution! Check out all the Portagame E3 news during this past week. Who knows, there may be more too.
So what’s with all the Next-gen, non-Handheld links? [...]
All Your PortaGaming Needs in One Place
Screw GameSpot. When you want coverage of all the handhelds and games you come right to the source right? So what if Jason didn’t pay for me and my DV camera to go to E3 this year. There’s always next year right boss? Anyway although my video camera and I couldn’t make it check out [...]
