Advertising in Video Games - SXSW 2006 Live!

Just got out a good little panel called “Convergance and Advertising“. One of the speakers was from Wild Tanget and gave a good talk about all the ways advertising was creeping into Video Games. The best part is that he was so excited about this! For those of you that don’t remember Wild Tanget used [...]

Red vs. Blue at the ScreenBurn Video Games Fest

Red vs. Blue Coming to a Close?
Just got out of a great presentation from the guys from Red vs. Blue (a.k.a Rooster Teeth Productions). They mostly spoke off the cuff about what they actually do for a living and why Red vs. Blue became so popular. They dropped some really great stats as [...]

Pac Man on your Ipod

Old iamsiam has a good story about Pac Man running on the Ipod. So far using a MAMELinux port people have it up and running on the Ipod Nano and the Ipod Video. They are basically taking MAME 0.18 and porting it over to the Ipod. Pretty sweet.
Photos after the jump.

I just ran a company into the ground….what to do next?

I know I will run my $500,000 Ferrari into a pole shearing it in half! Stefan Ericksson from Gizmondo recently crashed the hell out of his ferrari in LA. The best part is that he claimed not be driving it when the accident happened. He “claims” that a German man named “Fritz” was the driver [...]

Get to Coding

PSP News and the DCEmu Network are proud to announce the 3rd Coding Competition for the PSP. Looks like a cool little contest for you programmers out there. The prize is a GPX32. Pretty sweet as well.

Get to yapping on your PSP

Someone has ported Jabber over to the PSP. It’s an open source app commonly found on *nix machines allowing for a unification of your chat clients. In this case, someone has ported Jabber to the PSP. It has a nice clean interface but I’d imagine typing is a little difficult. Don’t you?

Opera Browser soon to grace your DS

In Opera’s agreement with Nintendo, Nintendo DS users will now be able to surf the full Internet from their systems using the Opera browser. The Opera browser for Nintendo DS will be sold as a DS card. Users simply insert the card into the Wi- Fi enabled Nintendo DS, connect to a network, and begin [...]

20,000 PSP Videos

Wow that is a lot of junk. Just kidding. I am sure there are tons of good PSP Video’s out there. And the fine folks over at GUBA want to help you find them. GUBA, a multimedia search service of Usenet videos, has added the availability of Sony PSP-enabled playback of GUBAs indexed Usenet video [...]
