DS and PSP: From The Shadows!
Independant online TV Shows are popping up faster than Ashton Kutcher movies. That said, if you’re going to produce one you better make it stand out to get any type of street cred. From The Shadows did just that. In the first episode they take their PSP and DS systems and test the wireless ad-hoc limits in possible everyday scenerios. They start with gamers on all 4 corners of a busy street in LA. Then they jump in a subway to test signal strength of units between cars. After that they drive 3 vehicles and test the distances of wireless gaming on the Highway. For a finale, the FTS hosts jump out of the airplane for some Mario 64 multiplay at terminal velocity (beat THAT Mario RPG LARPers!). The verdict: FromTheShadows.tv kicked some serious ass with this pilot (pun was not intended, at first) episode. I recommend you all get serious with bittorrent and divx so you can download the first episode of From The Shadows.
Great show FTS, but wow did you set the bar. Bring on episode 2!

what the crap is with this file? why does it say its only 4kb and after downloading divx and bittorent, these 2 programs are confusing the hell out of me. could you provide more detailed instructions on how to view this video???
Sorry for the confusion Egger, here’s a quickie:
Download and install DivX first. Then d/l and install bittorrent. After both have installed you may need to reboot. Next, d/l the movie from FTS. This is a seed file. Open it and you should see the Bittorrent application start. It allows you to d/l the actual movie from several machines (other users) all at once. This makes the download much faster and saves bandwidth for the host server since your connecting to other machines to complete the download.

AHA! i played the movie but it took me a while to realize that it was sent to my desktop instead of the recieved files folder. sorry never used this player before and it is…shall i say, different.
great movie too. i’d never play head to head with someone on street corners but the range for both systems should still be better
