Exclusive GBA: Odema, You Ugly Little Witch You!

Namdoo, an independent French developer, is putting the finishing touches on their first GBA title Odema. In the game, you play as Odema, an ugly (yet surprisingly beautiful) little witch who is searching for her magic book which was stolen by the old, evil sorcerer Skrof. There are 6 large worlds, each with multiple levels. The gameplay consists mostly of Ray-man style platforming, but we did see some levels with horizontal rail-shooter action as well. The characters, enemies, and boss’s are some of the best looking GBA sprites we have seen! The story is obviously original and it appears there is plenty of action to keep you involved until the end of the game. If they nail down the sound effects and background music just right, Namdoo may very well have GBA success on their first attempt! They are hoping to line up with a publisher that has a large reach, such as EA, Ubisoft or Infograme/Atari. Odema is well on track to being 100% finished by the end of the year.
