Gasp! PSP Doomed! Sony Might Miss March Launch Target.
Time to drape on robes and walk around the city with “The End is Near Signs.” Naysayers of Sony’s development plans have voiced their forecast for a doomed PSP launch (at least by March 2005).
According to PJ McNealy, analyst at American Technology Research who’s been watching Sony squirm under the microscope, Sony’s lack of SDK kits is the largest suspect for the doomed March launch. Without the SDK kits to developers, and more so to other media companies like music and movie producers, it will be difficult for third-party companies to have titles available in time for a March 2005 launch.
