GBA Movie Player Reviewed in Wired

Wired Reviews the GBA Movie Player

Wow remember when we all used to think our Blogs were cool because we covered the “underground” stuff. The kind of hardware and software that let you rage against the system. Well that kinda all flew out the window when big names like Wired start reviewing the GBA movie Player. Well the more attention this things gets the better I guess. And the reviewer even includes a link on where to get NES Rom’s. Nice work Wired!

Just thought I might want to announce something. Thanks to Christmas and Dell.. I’ll be the owner of a 4GB Compact Flash card soon. Bwa ha ha ha ha! Now if only they would go ahead and update the GUI in this thing. ^_^

you are one scary scary man when provoked. i mean by technology.

Anyone figger out a way to use MP4 and MP3’s on this directly? I’ve heard there’s a Linux port to GBA but can’t seem to find a simple way to do it. Compiling my own is not an option since I use a Mac, I’m converting Family guy eps right now using an emulator but it’s like 5 minutes per minute of video so it’s sloooooow

I did find a OSX devkit for GBA so will TRY to come up with something myself but I haven’t done programming since assembler and the 6502 processor were king!
