Gizmondo Adds Titles, Screenshots Even.

Gizmondo

Gizmondo didn’t want to be left out of all the news and press releases yesterday, so they leaked out some news and a few screenshots of upcoming games. Not sure if the titles will make it for the UK launch or not. Seeing they have actual screenshots, they appear miles ahead in development over the actual launch titles.

Angel Fish for Gizmondo Angel Fish is a first party Gizmondo game with what we think is a cool title name. Earth is already destroyed, so you don’t have to worry about saving it. Brilliant Brits! Now, all that is left is to take revenge on the aliens that destroyed your home planet with nothing to lose. In R-Type 2D scrolling fashion, Angel Fish looks sweet and has that old-school gaming feeling. Bring it on!

Gizmondo Super Drop Mania Unwritten rule of thumb: You can not launch a portable system without a stack-em up puzzle game like Tetris. Third party developer Fathammer hopes to fill that hole with their Super Drop Mania title. It plays like Tetris, but in reverse. It’s different in that it drops a whole row on you, instead of individual blocks. You must arrange the cells in the row to create columns and shapes. And of course, if you stack gets to high, you die. Another interesting tidbit: Rumoured to come free with the Gizmondo Game Deck
