Gizmondo Has Moment of Genius, Realizes Need For Games

Gizmondo realized today that they might need games to succeed, or at least try to succeed. They announced a game development fund to support developers who will take the time to incorporate Gizmonodo’s “advanced” features in to their game, wink, wink. Mostly, I suspect they want to see something done with the GPS since it’s really the only feature that sets them apart from the rest of the handhelds on the market (well that, and the Windows CE operating system). So, the answer to the popular “Where’s the Games?” question that they hear often, is “Oh yeah, games. Here, you make them.” We really want to be fair, we really do, but dissin on a system and business strategy like this is way too easy.
