Gizmondo To Support MP3 Download Service
Music download services are money machines. Apple has iTunes (duh). Sony has Connect. Napster has, well, Napster (duh duh). Ebay and Wal-Mart are trying the game, and there are many many more. Anxious to be in the game, or more to avoid being the only one NOT in the game, Gizmondo has arranged for Loudeye’s OD2 to provide a portal for music downloads to the Gizmondo player. The service will have 1.3 million songs from 12,000 artists (mostly UK) ready for the Gizmondo launch later this year. Pricing per song has yet to be determined.
