Is that a Stereoscopic Vision Add-On in your pocket? Or are you….
Yeah, I went there. This news is a little old but well worth the wait. This little add-on is for use in Metal Gear Acid 2. This would connect to your PSP and provide you with really cool Steroscopic Vision in the game world. I had no idea what that meant but according to Wikipedia that simply means giving the game the illusion of depth. So does that mean if you play Metal Gear Acid without these it will look like this?
Okay probably not, but I am curious about this? it must be using two different images in each eye to form one 3D one. I know no one has these but does anyone have Metal Gear Acid? Did the instruction manual talk about these glasses in it? Let us know.

As I understood it from some article or other that I read, yeah the screen will look like that image. It’ll just split the screen down the center and give you one side for each eye.
Anything more complicated then that would raise the price of the game too high.
I know an guy from my chruch, considerably older than me, who has a steroscope at his home. He showed it to me one time. It was pretty cool for old tech. Steroscopic PSP would be pretty cool. (Even though I don’t have a PSP to begin with… A SS DS would be even better…)
I remember a PC game I had that was a helicopter flight sim. It had the option to make my monitor display steroscopic views of the game. It was crazy wierd to play without the glases… I wish I had a pair, though.

If I had to guess, I’d say that when the game is being viewed with the glasses, the display probably alternates between frames intended for the left eye and frames intended for the right eye. Then the glasses block the eye that isn’t supposed to see that frame. That way, you get to see the entire screen in 3D.
