LG Gaming phone perhaps offers gaming experience
Here’s a game/phone hybrid that just might work. LG’s new “3D Game-Phone” has the small clamshell form factor we get excited about. Not only will it feel good in your pocket, but it is loaded with revolutionary features that will encourage developers to think differently about game design.
The LG phone’s features offer a unique gaming experience similar to how Nintendo DS’s touchscreen, dual screen, and microphone offer a different experience than what we were used to. For instance, on the LG phone there are acceleration sensors, perhaps gyroscopic, that will allow you to control the game by actually moving the phone in different directions. Remember the early NES days when siblings and or parents had eye-hand coordination difficulties and thought they could make Mario jump by quickly moving the controllor up (hands emulating a jump)? Those days will soon be back, but it won’t just be kid sisters and out-of-touch-with-reality parents that will look like fools, it will be you. And you’re going to love it. Hey the first time, and only time, we tried a DDR feel we felt like we just qualified for the special olympics. This may be the same type of experience. The gamers that stick with it will look like rhythm pros.
The system has a 1 million polygon per second graphics accelerator. May not seem like much to tout about, but this is a phone after all. A 1.3 megapixel camera is also included for additional fun.
So you want one now? Well, guess what kiddies, the word “premium” is not a good thing unless you’re a trendsetting celebrity:
LGE said the product, which it put on display at the Consumer Electronics Show that ended in Las Vegas on Sunday, received much interest from the international media and young spectators. LGE said it would begin marketing the product in Korea in the first half of this year, targeting game fanatics. Afterwards, it would put it on the North American and European markets as a high-priced, premium product.

That is so pretty. I remember doing that with my hands though… Hell, I watch my brother still do it. He’s 20 years old and he’ll hop in the air in mid-boss-battle while I giggle.
