Nintendo DS drops price, Game Boy Micro release date!

The True Crimes Faceplate for REAL PLAYAS.

Isn’t it about time you bought a new portable?

If you have not bought a Nintendo DS yet (shame on you!), the price for the unit drops to $129.95 on August 22nd. Some places may still be holding that Super Mario 64 DS promotion when it hits. If you do not have one yet, the Nintendo DS is definitely worth picking up for upcoming games like Trauma Center: Under The Knife, Nintendogs, Advance Wars: Dual Strike, Lost in Blue, Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, and others.

Nintendo has also announced that the Game Boy Micro will be released on September 19, 2005 in the USA. This supports the September 13, 2005 release date for the unit in Japan. No additional details are available. Please stay tuned to this site for any additional information. Also check out this resource for more information on the Game Boy Micro. According to more recent speculation from retailers, the price point for the Game Boy Micro looks to be from $89.99 to $99.99 and a slight price drop on the Game Boy Advance SP is rumored to follow the launch of the Micro. No European launch date has been announced.

how come then when i put my ds up to that chart my screens are bigger than the one there? it doesn’t seem right.

Did you print out the chart?

If you print it out at the correct size, it matches up perfectly.

yeah i noticed if i save the image to my computer and show it a little bigger it matches up. you shoulda put the real size on the site. or is it something with pixels changing the real size?

The size is based on the actual inches, not the pixel resolutions.

The pixel resolutions on the DS, PSP, and Micro are higher than their screen sizes.

For example, the Micro’s screen is two inches, but it’s pixel resolution is still 240 wide and 160 high.

oh right. and you don’t know how high or low a person’s computer’s resolution is… confusing.

i don’t think i’ll buy a micro since i just got my ds. by the way, i picked up FTM XX/XY today. truly funky.
