Nintendo DS Full of Electroplankton
Q: So, Nintendo, we have the DS. We love the DS. But, where are the titles?
A: Japan
Yes, some great DS imports to smuggle from overseas. One of which is the title Electroplankton. We say title, because the word game doesn’t accurately describe what would be happening on your DS screens. Electroplankton is an interactive experience with small creatures (plankton) that will react to you in several different ways. The individual creatures will react to both your stylus AND your voice. Yes, a title is taking advantage of the built-in microphone other than for blowing clouds away or blowing candles out. You spit some verbage in, your plankton will meddle with the recording of your voice and regurgitate it back to you with different effects and sounds for effect. This game, er title, is a simple experience with no real goal, similar to the likes of Animal Crossing or Seaman.
