Nintendo DS lifts its skirt, has nice batteries.
The sick and twisted alphageeks at Lik-Sang decide to make a sacrificial offering to the game Gods by cracking the case of a brand new Nintendo DS. Perhaps they didn’t hear the Nintendo DS is an endangered species. Yes I am a proud Nintendo DS owner and wouldn’t do such a thing to my system (not yet, at least).
They pulled out the battery for some real testing, and a little cool feat too:
If you cut away the two small plastic pieces of a standard GBA SP battery (see pictures), you can use it with your Nintendo DS. This is of course only recommended for people who know what they are doing, but this might solve your temporary power issues if you are waiting for some first party batteries to arrive, or if you already have a bunch of GBA SP batteries. With this piece of info the last power-related question importers had is now also answered.
That’s good to know if I’m ever in a battery crisis!
They also opened up a game cartridge, looks like a flash drive.

They sell the best stylus for the NDS. You have a chance to win one on the site.
