Nokia N-Gage QD Ships Half-Assed
A lot of N-Gage news buzzing around today. Mostly, that their system has shipped in Europe, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific…but not in the Americas or Japan. This is a disappointment as the recent interview with Nokia’s Nada Usina had Nokia grin-toothing the fact that they were the first to ever pull-off a completely global launch with the original N-Gage. Since they weren’t able to repeat the feat with the QD, I’d throw that in the “once bitten, twice shy” trash.
Nokia also stated that buyers could get the systems as low as 49 euros, or even free, with phone-signup-incentives. Fair enough.
