Official Nintendo release announcements
The list that fresh DS owners have been eagerly anticipating comes up a bit shy. Hopefully Nintendo plans to further the list for the first few months, as DS enthusiasts have always hoped for.
Catch Touch Yoshi - January 27th, 2005 (Japan)
Wario Ware: Touched - February 14th, 2005
Pokemon Dash - March 14th, 2005
Yoshis Touch and Go - March 2005
I find it a bit strange that Wario Ware would be released on valentines day, maybe Nintendo is reaching out to the more deprived consumers, or, well, it very well could be a coincidence. Accompanied by that release list comes another title announced, called Super Princess Peach. Perhaps there will be more touching in that game for those deprived consumers Nintendo is aiming for.
As for their continuing GBA lineup - here goes
Yoshi’s Universal Gravitation - December 9th, 2004 (Japan)
Legend of Zelda: Minnish Cap - January 10th, 2005
Wario Ware: Twisted - March 21st, 2005
Mario Party Advanced - March 2005
Needless to say - Zelda: The Minnish Cap appears to be the most promising title on that list, as it has (for a first) been released earlier in Europe, and has already attained stunning acclaim. This title has been headed by Capcom, and has a very Four Swords style and play to it.

honestly, im a bit disappointed with that list. I mean, wario ware will be fun and all, yoshi’s touch and go very well may be as well. but i wanted to hear more about animal crossing ds, mario kart ds, metroid prime hunters, and most importantly, Advance Wars DS…. many of those titles had been speculated as either january 05 or early 05, and none of them were on nintendo’s official list.
I hope they get around to releasing those, soon…
