PlayStation Portable Keyboard
Saw this on Gizmodo and had to post it. Looks like the PSP Keyboard will use touch sensitive keys instead of pushbuttons. (Think iMac and Apple Monitors.) Or else this is just a place holder saying “Keyboard Goes Here”. The only thing that doesn’t make sense is the keyboard is on top. Won’t my big fat thumbs cover up part of the screen as I reach up there to SMS? Dunno.

they dont flip down, look at the connection and the fact that the letters are right sideup and not backwards, think before commenting

Logitech should get some gerbils on it.
I saw an image of the real thing. it connects to the usb port and attaches on the bottom. Flips up in front of the screen when you aren’t using it. Sony isn’t just blowing smoke. They have the thing put together and ready to go, prolly within the next few months.
yea, the psp is the best. there is nothing sony could have done to it to make it better. People comment about the battery life but if u play it that long, u dont have a life!
THe psp is the greatest pieace of technology i have ever come accrosse, it’s easy to use and there are so many things you can do with it. I RECOMEND IT!!!!!!!!!!
I was wondering. Will we ever be able to download the games –> store them on the Memory Sticks and play them of the Memory Stick. Will you guys think that its eventually going to happen??? I know there’s some geek out there that’s working on it. Lol.
i believe its very possible to do that but it also might be …. well…. illegal! developers want to make money off their games but maybe, in the future, you could download part of the game on to the stick so that you can play wirelessly head to head with other people without each player having a copy of the game. that would be great
hey the psp is gonna be able to download games onto it probably sometime this year….MABEY THIS YEAR. they already discussed it about a year ago. If you have a psp, go to your game options and you’ll see two memory icons one is for the games you saved and the other is for the downloaded games. also if you connect your psp to your comp. through your usb cable and go to your psp directory thing is says game saves and that should be where the downloadable games go…okay goood bye now!

That keyboard looks a lot worse than the clear one…Even if your hands cover the screen a little when you type, you should not only 1) be able to remember what you type and not need to look at the screen and 2) not be worried about playing the game while you’re typing :). I could care less if my hands get in the way of the screen while typing…

Today, I went to K-Mart to get sports equipment and they were selling all the video games at 50% off! Since they were so cheap, my parents let me get 2 PSP games for $40. :- )
the logic 3 one is far better, logic 3 are coming out wit sum mental stuff for the psp which i know alot of people are looking forward to at E3, such as a big addon which gives 2.1 speaker setup and a sub on the back. mental. but the fact is the sony keyboard needs expaining because it just doesnt look right as where the logic 3 one wud suit it far more and be easyer to use.
Or maybe, “bIG”, Mental could be the name of some of the accessories for the PSP. I could be wrong, but how about you get your facts straight before calling him a dumbass on weed.
Well whats wrong with weed? It adds a whole new dimension to PSP game playin. Children need not heed that advice.
Also - am I the only one who hates that Sony didnt illuminate or backlight the friggin buttons on the PSP? It drives me absolutely crazy.
Maybe the 2nd gen will have it that way.

typical example of Sony vapor ware. pretend like they have the goods to hype and scare off the competition until they can really put it together a few years from now.
Never buy the first generation of any new sony product. it just a cardboard cutouts pretending to be the real thing.
just like the first generation mini-laptops from sony. they looked cool but they had sucky battery life, ran too hot, and the processors were wimpy. and they cost an arm and a leg.
