PSP, AKA PS3 Controller
No surprises here, but it appears the PSP will work as a handy remote for the PS3. Not sure why you’d want just the one analog stick of the PSP, when you could have two analog sticks on the PS3 banana controller. It’s the Katamari way!
What IS sorta, in a kinda way, surprising about all this is Sony is possibly planning a DVR add-on for the PS3. (RTFA)
So, my take on this? With both machines using Memory Stick Duos as their saving media of choice, I’m guess that this will be a big feature set in the PSP-to-PS3 compatability. The PS3 would be able to access and save to the Memory Stick on the PSP and vice versa. I’d even go so far as saying the DVR accessory would be able to save directly to Memory Stick for playback on the PSP. Just a guess. But if Sony doesn’t do it, some other company will.
What if Sony actually allowed playback of UMD movies on the PS3? Through the PSP? That would actally make buying a UMD movie seem a little more logical.

I think the psp and ps3 are both great gadgets, nintendo revolution is only an idea at the moment because they havnt even designed the controllers. i recently got a psp and it is great u can play games, watch movies and listen to music. so far there hasnt been a decent gadget that can do this. The nitendo ds is not as good as the psp, come on why have two screens. nitendo ds doesnt do half of what the psp does. all it is, is a big gameboy, wereas the psp has great graphics and comes with great games. sony and microsoft make the best games consoles and thats a fact.
holy crap, why would anyone say the ps3 sucks because its BULKY!?! how much style does a game console need, its no museum art piece! its what it does gamewise that matters. And it still looks pretty good to me, what do expect?
i’m defently buying the ps3 but what i don’t know is the controller… i looks difficult like my hand is gunna be stretching everywhere so i have to have competition with the game AND also have a battle with the controller… i think the should have maybe just slightly modified the ps2 contollers like i dunno make it softer!? lol i just don’t knwo i hope i can find a ps2 type controller that will work just as well as the ps3 one i like that shape better

PS3 is way better than Xbox 360.
XBOX 360 IS 4 CHEAPOES. all of microsoft money is based on Halo and Xbox Live. XBOX 360 IS JUST A BIG JOKE!
Yall are crazy if you think the revolution will be good i mean it has been over 12 years since nintendo has been on top they need to be like sega and give up on consols and stick to making games
