PSP and DS Online Conspiracies
Some of you will get a kick out of this. I posted two entries at digg.com about some rumors and/or news about truly taking the PSP and DS online.
First is Warpipe’s Official Notice. They are dropping support for the GameCube tunneling software. But they are telling us that demasked will be released this year and will include a distribution platform for developers to farm-out software online wirelessly (think Steam, Xbox, etc). If you’re at E3, you might be able to sneak a demo from them. [This tip was found on 4CR.]
Second is Sony’s PSP Firmware Leak. This is full of speculation and worthy of daytime soap gossip. It’s possible that Sony may have leaked a firmware update for the PSP. A big update too. One that includes a full native web browser, an email client, and a text-to-speech app, and who knows what else. This happened to the Japanese version and made big news, so why not let it happen in the US? We americans consume conspiracy almost as fast as we gulp Double Cheeseburgers. [Found on PSP Garden]

O man! I got Twisted Metal today, which is a great game. Online play is just awesome, though with a keyboard, it would feel more like a community. I hope Coded Arms will have online play, because this was just so much fun.
