PSP Hacked
Someone Hacked and altered the browser of the Wipeout game, And now before an offical broswer has even launched it is possible for the user to view can browse any site on the net.
This is just the start, Die-Hard fans will
hack/alter and basically Mod the PSP in just about any and every way.
It seems fairly fast and suprising that the long line of hacks have started this early.
I mean the unit hasnt even been launched Europe yet, Just imagine what will happen straight after.
The site located here but is down at the moment,
Visit these Forums where there is a large discussion about it.

I have a PSTwo and that keyboard in the NA CD is pretty useful.
Although I have yet to play any PS2 games online. o_O Actually, I use my PS2 more as a DVD player than anything else. Although I have been playing through a Review Copy of Digital Devil Saga lately.
BUY THAT GAME. It rocks. They hired a lot of pros for it. If you pay attention to anime, Amanda Win Lee is Argilla’s voice. She does a pretty good job too. They also got the guy from Cowboy Bebop to do a voice in it. It comes out in April from Atlus. It’s one of the better RPGs out this year on the PS2. Oh, the downside is that the combat is lackluster, but the storyline more than makes up for it. Spread your healing abilities early on.
Oh, and Makai Wars is actually Makai KINGDOM. It’s also for PS2, not PSP.
mercman = showoff. lol
most people aren’t going to buy wipeout pure just to hack it and make it into an internet browser - a lot of people simply don’t have the time and resources to do it. I’m not going to bother with sniffing packets - that’s my dog’s job. lol. I’ll wait for the real, full-featured browser to come out and I’ll get that.
I’m going to wait until GT4 comes out for the PSP before I buy it - even better: the white GT edition of the PSP. Anyone have any idea as to when GT4 will come out for PSP? It’s out for PS2 already (obviously), so I can’t see why it wasn’t a launch title - they shouldn’t have any problem porting it.
Well, the american browser shouldn’t be long coming. Since the Korean Launch of the PSP in May will include a web browser. However, they are partnering with a internet company in Korea, and Korea has of the highest ratio of internet users. So it may be a while before the browser goes global.
does any one have any other dns numbers for me to try on my psp besides 208.42.28.174 or
67.171.70.72 they seem not to work i went into bestbuy and starbucks for an access point and it still didnt work and every i talk to tells me that theirs worked but mine wont. please help!! thanks in advance!!!
I think you need an add-on for a PSP GPS. And isn’y it Global Positioning System? Or is it the way you said.
HI DUDE VISITOR YOU SAY YOU WANT A GPS FOR THE PSP GSP IS GLOBAL PISISTIONING SATILITES INSTEAD OF WRITING GLOBAL PISITIONING SATILITES THEY CALL IT SHORT GPS TAKES UP LESS TIME AND LESS BAND WITH GPS IS WAY SHORTER THEN GLOBAL PISISTIONING SATILITES IF YOU ADD THAT DIFERENCE MAY BE WE WOULD HAVE NOT EVER CALLED BAND WITH GUZZLERS BUT THE REPORTS ARE STIL SAY A GPS OR GLOBAL POSITIONING SATILITE IS ON THE WAY OR GM CALLS THERE VERSION ON STAR
ive been trying and trying to get on the web with my psp and ive tryed every dns code i could find and none of them worked i pluged them in and went under downloades on wipeout and when i get connected its just a blank screen and i press start and go to home page and it still is just a blank screen if you know what to do please email me at chokemeelmo@yahoo.com thanks!!!!!!
(to: jonathan ritter) i see. hmm try setting your primary DNS to 67 171 70 72 . that seems to work on mine and I can surf the net without any trouble. i’ll give you my settings
ip adress 0 0 0 0
Subnet Mask 255 255 255 0
default router 0 0 0 0
primary dns 67 171 70 72
secondary dns 0 0 0 0
(thats in infrastructure mode)…try using that with the wipeout pure download function. it works for me but so far i’ve only tried it with my router.
if that doesnt work maybe all of the bandwidth is beeing used at your hotspots
ok i tried it and still i get the same result and all of my setings are set perfectly to what everyones told me all i get is that blank screen and no portal
sorry…during the blank screen, click the start button, then the ‘go to home page option’
if that doesnt work and someone else’s psp recieves internet in the same spot with the same settings then i suggest returning your psp for a new one
is there a way to acess internet in psp without beeing in a hotspot.
Is there a gps site on the net so i can go with my psp?
well then you should do what i suggested above i guess. test it out with another friends psp or something and see if it works with the same settings
i wish there was…… but for now, there isnt, maybe in sometime in may the OFFICIAL web browser from korea/jap will be released, even though i highly doubt it
well, yes if you have a router, but if you dont then not so much but its a fun game. currently it’s the best racing game but new ones will come out shortly
how do you guys get online i want to play my ATV offroad fury game so bad can you help in good detail?
Noooo,…. You have to buy “Wipeout Pure” to access an internet browser! Even if there is another way to do it, I see no other way other than connecting the PSP directly to your router. I don’t know which cable you would use to do that. What do yall think of “Untold Legends”?
yo kk this is all good btu i just got the game wipe out and i also did everything but it dosent bring me to a page with url it just brings me to a page from wipeout with a url thingy so how do i get to a website were i can put in a url some1 tell me or send me and email on msn masamunescar@hotmail.com
it is now possible to surf the net without wipeout pure. u just have to risk your psp to the new japanese released firmware 2.0 that has an icon for the WWW
I have the 2.00 firmware with the www icon and i was wondering is there any ip adress, subnet mask, default router, primary dns, or secondary dns numbers I could use to get connected

yay psp browser! As for software keyboard input, I like the one from the network adaptor cd for the ps2 (rather than a qwerty keyboard):
tiles with the letters on each side, and you highlight the tile, and press the symbol buttons corresponding to the letter on each side of the highlighted square. (if anyone doesn’t get it… uh… get a pstwo.)
