E3 2005, Next-Gen Systems, Blu RSS, and heavy linking

E3 is all done and finished as of yesterday. It was a hard up year, with news on the Xbox 360, PS3, Gameboy Micro, and of course the Revolution! Check out all the Portagame E3 news during this past week. Who knows, there may be more too.
So what’s with all the Next-gen, non-Handheld links? [...]

All Your PortaGaming Needs in One Place

Screw GameSpot. When you want coverage of all the handhelds and games you come right to the source right? So what if Jason didn’t pay for me and my DV camera to go to E3 this year. There’s always next year right boss? Anyway although my video camera and I couldn’t make it check out [...]

More DS Goodness from E3

Hey Everyone. The cool folks over at GBATemp have some really good below the radar coverage of what’s going on with the DS at E3. They have a ton of screenshots (including the one below) from lot’s of DS titles. Some of the really cool ones in my book would be
# Advance Wars [...]

E3: Tapwave Mysteriously Missing

I don’t want to get all you Zod-heads bummed out, but don’t be looking for any Tapwave Zodiac news during E3. According to the official E3 exhibitor list, Tapwave is MIA.
This just further supports their shift in business model from the Zodiac being a Gaming Unit to it just being a Multimedia Unit (which it [...]

E3: New N-Gage Accessories

While I’m on my N-Gage kick, I figured I should toss out these. Nokia announced some new accessories for their existing N-Gage QD unit. Aside from typical cases, headphones, and S&M leashes (or lanyards, whatever) that most portable units already have–there were a couple of unique items. Of note were the Aluminum MMC Game Card [...]

E3 2005: N-Gage Update

Nokia announced their future N-Gage plans this week. No new phone, as we had hoped but knew we wouldn’t get. Instead there will be many new phones. Start thinking of N-Gage as a platform, not a unit. This move will allow Nokia to make different phones for different personalities and have them all be N-Gage [...]

New Screenshots and Videos from E3

Hey All,

E3 2005: Xbox 360 WILL Connect to PSP, iPod

Joystiq reported from the Xbox 360 Press Conference last night. BIG news for handheld gamers, er, audiophiles and digital photographers. The Xbox 360 will support connectivity to both the PSP and the (Photo?) iPod, as well as digital cameras and other MP3 players, to download and manage digital content.
I don’t think this will affect games [...]

E3 2005: Attack of the Bloggers!

I really don’t know how geeks and/or bloggers are going to survive this week with the Launch of Star Wars Episode III on Thursday at Midnight. If you, the innocent public, have never heard a geek orgasm (and it’s not pretty), you will by the end of this week. Perhaps multiple geekgasms. Starting today, [...]

Pixel Peg Boards Offer Sprite Recreation

Countless hours of childhood memories can be relived when you start plugging pegs into these pegboards. If you follow instructions, you’ll get a classic 8-bit sprite. These Dot Pin sets are what Brian affectionately refers to as “video game themed Lite Brites”. Sounds about right to me.
[Dot Pin Sets blast from the past via [...]
