Sony U50 - Handtop Gaming Machine

u50

We are ever so grateful to our friends at Handtops.com for taking a gamers look at the sexy Sony U50. Offering benchmarks and reviewing PC favorites such as Medal of Honor Allied Assault: Spearhead, Warcraft III, Call of Duty, Medal of Honor and the MAME emulator, it appears that the age of portable PC gaming is about to arrive. (They also tried Microsoft’s Rise of Nations but the game failed miserably, and we agree that it’s probably not the U50 to blame). Along with the full gaming review, Handtops.com carefully prepared a in-depth detailed review of the geek factor of the U50.

[Thanks Handtops!]

Rise of Nations plays fine on the U70 if you use an external monitor. It apparently runs at a minimum resolution of 1024×768.

JK - thanks for the update! This is very good to know.
