TGS 2004: Sony PSP to Support MP3?

Will the Sony PSP support the MP3 along with their ATRAC3 audio format? We’re not seeing it on Sony’s website, but it’s very possible. Our first clue comes from GamesIndustry.biz, where an attendee of the Tokyo Game Show spotted the MP3 coded in the official Sony PSP product sheet. Second, days ago, Sony announced they would support MP3, along with ATRAC, on all their audio players. So, it doesn’t seem that far off base does it? The Sony PSP, could well indeed support MP3. You will be limited to Memory Sticks, since the UMDs will not be writeable anytime soon.
