Turbo XS Dtec Car Tuning Tool for GBA

Turbo XS Dtec

It’s small, portable, easier to set down than a laptop, and when you’re tuning something like, oh say a car engine with a lot of moving parts, that’s a big deal. So what is it? It’s your very own GBA. The TurboXS Dtec adapter for the GBA that plugs into TurboXS’ Tuner or Tuner Pro (or a laptop if that’s your preference) and allow for real-time monitoring of your engine’s performance. Currently you can use the monitor as a Boost Gauge, Exhaust Gas Temperature Gauge, Air Temperature Gauge and Tachometer. It sounds like they have more features coming in the future too. And if you use it with the Tuner or Tuner Pro, your GBA can also be an AFR (Air/Fuel Ratio).

And who said the GBA was just a little kids toy? This thing is sweet!

That’s to cool, Is it compatible with the 2000 Ford Mustang GT? That’s what I have. It’d be nice to see what this would be able to do for my car. Plus it would give my GBA SP another use, besides just playing games.

The dtec is a pretty versatile unit. It is universal in its application list. The base package we are releasing it as is Gauge Pack. So if you needed to have a Boost/Vacuum, Exhaust Gas Temperature, Intake Temperature and RPM Gauge it’s all a possibility with just this one unit and more to come. The next level of our piggy-back Engine Management Systems will be a air/fuel computer, boost controller and Ignition Timing Controller. These features will all be available in the upcoming months.

jason - have you started the minigames yet? once you get into that, you’ll be hooked. this touch screen idea will change games as we know it, drastically. props to nintendo, i wouldve never guessed hteyd pull it off so well *goes back to playing ds*

I’ve been reading about Spiderman at the IGN DS site. It seems like it should be a pretty good game. It’s not full 3D but it’s got 3D graphics. Picture Crash Bandicoot where things look 3D but you are moving in a 2D “restricted” manner. I can’t wait to get my hands on a DS. I do have to wait though because my birthday is this week and then Christmas is coming up. I may be getting it as a present. If not I’ll probably buy one in January.
It will be something fun to play during my lunch breaks! Did anyone try playing Madden yet? I’m wondering how it looks/plays on the DS.

sorry for the multiple post, I don’t know why that happened, guess I’m too impatient.

np…I fixed it.

Btw - this is a Gameboy topic, let’s move to DS post to stay on topic. I’m blaming Charlie for veering offtopic (he does it a lot, you should hear him try to strike a conversation without talking about Halo2 or the DS).

Thanks for the update Jermaine, please keep us posted!

How about a compatible version with the 1996-2004 mustang GT 4.6 2valve SOHC engine with simple tuning capabilities(timing adjustment, fan on/off temp, allowing diffrent injectors to be used)
and the best would be integrating a diagnostic tool to read codes of the eec.
