X5 Portal for PSP
With it being like Nintendo DS week and all; Mario Kart is online, Animal Crossing being released, and Tony Hawk bringing up the rear… make that Nintendo month. Anyways, there is little love for the PSP right now. So its nice people are still making 2.0 hacks and tricks so that you might be able to play some decent homebrew on firmware 2.0 of the PSP. Especially now that games like GTA and SOCOM require 2.0 or else the game will not even run, even with hacks.
Well the X5 portal is pretty neat, and uses the PSP web browser to trick it into going to a webpage, when the files are really on the memory stick. This allows smooth and offline playing, and is a great substitute, since homebrew is broken with loaders. X5 includes somes games, links, and looks like a very complete and functional program. Anyone else use it yet? I’m going to wait until I get SOCOM before I upgrade to 2.0, so I have yet to use the program.

i really like x5 its really fun when im like at school my friends thought it was pretty cool 2 and the games are kinda cool and actully this x5 thing is customizable like if you wish to add new java games to the list so its a really nice feature i rlly liked it lol ^_^ plus its like the only thing i can do besides play on my psp i made the mistake of upgrading to 2.60
i have the x5, it great, it has AIM, MSN messenger, and Yahoo Messenger, it has abunch of games and mine even has iTunes(sadly it doesnt work yet).
and one thing, Gotron how do you put more games on the X5?
this thing i downloaded i extracted is den open the folder put the folder named x5 in the common folder on da psp den put the pic on the photo folder den i type file:/common/x5/index.html and it dosent work help please..!!!
…remember to delete cookies and catche. then set file:/common/x5/index.html as homepage. restart psp. start browser. I have pspwxp (vista portal) . Imma get x5 though. hope this helps. e-mail is kenny010794@hotmail.com
