Xbox 360 All Up in PSP’s Face

Xbox 360 PSP Ads

Sony was fast to the presses to announce a new store in France called The PSP Factory. (Think of it like an Apple Store, but for PSPs.) Almost just as fast would be Microsoft through their leasing of the large ceiling-to-floor windows of the laundromat across the street. Now when ever a gamer (or the store staff) looks out of the window of The PSP Factory, all they see is green and white with a message that translates to “Save your energy for winter.” Sony, who was already in a big enough battle with Nintendo in the handheld market, then turned to look Microsoft in the eye and cry “Et tu Microsoft?

We see it as a very clever move, and tried to resist succumbing to adding to the hype in the blogospher. We resisted, but the force was too strong.

(Update: We get reminded from Excuse My French that “After one day of corporate blasphemy, the stickers were removed. No lawsuit, no scandal, just a big cheque from Sony.”)
